Kimberly Hess

Kimberly Hess has had a lifelong passion for women’s history and has advocated for women’s history, education and business careers through global and local volunteer leadership positions. These included serving as a trustee of the Alice Paul Institute, representing the Mid-Atlantic states in Smith College’s global alumnae admission program, establishing Smith’s first affinity group for alumnae in business and chairing the planning committee for its first conference for alumnae in business.

Kimberly’s corporate career in property and casualty insurance included projects spanning international strategic development, innovation, market research and underwriting portfolios with historic homes at Chubb & Son. She has a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Smith College and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Rutgers Business School, with coursework at the École Supérieure de Commerce et Management in Tours, France. In 2013, she earned a Certificate in Historic Preservation from the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies at Drew University.
