Sarah Peskin, a Board member of the Frances Perkins Center, graciously spoke to the Research and Interpretation Committee of the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites in May 2025. The center is a non-profit organization and official philanthropic partner of the Frances Perkins National Monument. They are a nationally recognized cultural institution based at the national monument in Newcastle, Maine, established to inspire current and future generations to understand and uphold the government’s role in providing social justice and economic security for all.
