By October 12, 2020 No Comments

You are invited! The National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites is holding its Annual Member Meeting via Zoom on Monday, October 19th at 3 p.m. EST. The Annual Meeting is usually a benefit of membership, but this year we wanted to open it up to all of you. Our featured speaker will be Dr. Cathleen Cahill, associate professor of History at Penn State University.

Dr. Cahill is the author of Recasting the Vote: How Women of Color Transformed  the Suffrage Movement (University of North Carolina Press 2020). Her first book, Federal Fathers and Mothers: A Social History of the  United States Indian Service, 1869-1933 (UNC 2011), won the Labriola Center for American Indian National Book Award and was finalist for the David J. Weber and Bill Clements Book Prize. She is also steering committee chair for the Coalition for Western Women’s History. (Photo credit: Michael T. Davis)

It has been a big year for the NCWHS and we want to share that information with you, our honored members and non-members. Questions and comments from attendees are encouraged.

Email membership@ncwhs.org to register or for more information. If you’d like to become a member, go to ncwhs.org/join. Call-in information and a program for the day will be sent ahead of the meeting. Please share this with others who may be interested. To download the poster, click here.

We hope to “see” you there!
