A NVWT marker was installed honoring Frances R. Keyser on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach. The marker was installed alongside school founder Dr. Mary Bethune’s Trail marker on the grounds of Dr. Bethune’s home. Keyser taught at and was an administrator for the school from 1912-1922 when it was known as the Daytona Literary and Industrial Training School for Negro Girls.
