While the National Votes for Women Trail did not reach the financial goal of $15,000, we have met our goal of creating a website that shares our growing database of important suffrage sites around the country. Thanks to the generosity of so many we were able to raise $4,285. With that seed money and a lot of volunteer time, a few key women — web designer, Stacy Smith; NCWHS President, Marsha Weinstein; Tableau consultant, Lauren Harris — were able to put together a new website that features an interactive searchable mobile-friendly map of suffragist sites. Now, thanks to a grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation we will be getting a database consultant to further improve the functioning of the site. Visit us at NVWT.org.
