On May 27, 2022, a Pomeroy marker was installed in a little garden located on the east side of Amelia & Dexter C. Bloomer Elementary School grounds in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The marker is south of the intersection of Willow Street & South 7th Street.
All of the Council Bluffs committee members who were involved in the grant process are celebrating the culmination of the project and enjoying the success of our efforts. Dedicating the marker on Amelia’s birthday was truly “icing on the cake!!”
