The Pinellas Federation of Woman’s Clubs organized suffragists marching in the March 4, 1919, Kermess parade. It was primarily their dedication and work for the cause that won five Pinellas County municipalities suffrage prior to the passing of the 19th amendment: St. Pete, Pass-a-Grille, Clearwater, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs.
