August 7, 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky, a NVWT marker was unveiled honoring Georgia, Alice and Mollie Nugent. These sister were suffragists, civil rights and community improvement activist.

The Nugent sisters were nominated for a NVWT Pomeroy marker by Gold Award Girl Scout Laura Bache. The event was inspired by a tea the sisters held in 1938.
