A marker dedication honoring the Rosalind Club in Orlando, FL, took place the first week in March as a part of Women’s History Month. The event was well attended and was covered by the Orlando Sentinel and two smaller community papers. It was also covered by four television stations and one radio station. At the NVWT marker dedication, the Mayor presented Joy Dickerson, the local historian, with a proclamation commemorating the day. Joy then spoke to the attendees on their work and contributions to make the National Votes for Women Trail markers a reality.
