By May 9, 2023 No Comments

To celebrate the centennial of the passing of the 19th Amendment, the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites (NCWHS) and the University of West Florida Historic Trust unveiled the first historic marker in Pensacola on the National Votes for Women Trail on November 14, 2022. The marker sits on the lawn of the Pensacola Museum of History, which formerly served as Pensacola City Hall. This building was a meeting space for the Pensacola Equal Suffrage League in the early 1900s.
